President Cyril Ramaphosa has demoted and humiliated senior ANC ministers to be deputies
- Thoko Didiza, former Minister of Agriculture and Land Reform, is now the Speaker of the National Assembly.
- Angie Motshekga, former Minister of Basic Education, is now the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans.
- Mondli Gungubele, former Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, is now the Deputy Minister in the same department.
- Aaron Motsoaledi, former Minister of Home Affairs, has been replaced by Leon Schreiber of the DA.
- Bheki Cele, former Minister of Police, has been replaced by Senzo Mchunu.
- Pravin Gordhan, former Minister of Public Enterprises, is no longer in the cabinet.
- Zizi Kodwa, former Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, has resigned and been replaced by Gayton Mackenzie of the PA.
- Other ANC ministers have been demoted to deputy ministers, including Njabulo Nzuza (Home Affairs), Maggie Sotyu (Tourism), and David Mahlobo (Water and Sanitation).
