Was HIV developed in a lab?

This is not a conspiracy theory…it happened in 1957…it haunted me all my life…afraid, and told nobody…need to tell before I die. I am old now, (86) I decided to write a memoir for my family and friends and included this mother of all “OOPS” in biological experimentation, hence the book title THE BIRTH OF DEATH.

It was 1957 in the Air Force, part of our training was to be familiar with weapons in the U.S. arsenal. A government agent, the liaison between the Pentagon and the military, conducted the instruction which was classified as SECRET, no notes, no books, no tests. We learned about all types of bombs, including the nuclear bomb, rockets missiles, toxic gages and chemicals, fungus, germs, etc.

A few days later we were all leaving for our assignments when I accidently met the agent and we had a friendly chat about where we were assigned to next. We ended up light-heartedly joking about all the crazy stuff scientists come up with to kill people. That’s when he came up with, “they” (the germ warfare laboratory) are “working one” an experiment to develop a “bug” ( now called a virus)that would reverse the immune system of a human. Anybody wounded or sick, dies. He mentioned problems they were having with testing the “bug” and the method to deploy the “bug” as a warfare agent. I asked, “ how do you make a bug?” He described the ingredients of a petri dish, when we were interrupted and had to depart. No more thought about it, just another killer in the arsenal…not a thought about it until 1982.

During the 1980s there was an outbreak of an immunity disease that baffled scientists. The cause, method of transmission, and origin unknown. Scientists finally discovered the cause was a virus and named it AIDS. It turned into an epidemic with million dying. I was near panic thinking I might know something about this. If scientists didn’t know, I was sure it was a secret, so I better keep my mouth shut. Never mentioned it to anybody for 34 years.

I’m sure you all know the origin of AIDS is the “green monkey” as publicized by scientists. Well…during a 3 year extensive research these scientists examined thousands of monkeys and their feces in Africa and could not find ONE with transferable SIV. They did conclude, after “reversed” genetic engineering that it was POSSIBLE to contract AIDS from a SIV infected monkey. The scientific report contained wording as: “probably” used twice, “may have,” “perhaps,” “probably the most reliable,” and “presumably someone was bitten.” And…the last sentence: “The research SEEMS to settle any question of HIV origin.”

Other scientists agreed that the AIDS virus had to be man-made because statistics of the proliferation and geographical disparity at the onset of the epidemic proved that the “ape theory” was impossible. One researcher said the monkey must have been a jet pilot.

One world famous research scientist spent 27 years studying every theory, every research project and every opinion and concluded: It began as a direct result of a careless and unprincipaled medical experimentation in Africa in the late 1950s.”

To get opinions and credibility I sent my book to 3 universities that had AIDS research programs, to the CDC in Atlanta, and to one research scientist. No answer from any except two, the scientist said “no proof,” and one that required to be anonymous, said, “leave it alone.” I guess he meant “let sleeping dogs lie,” because the reparations from all over the world would be a disaster.
