Has Hitler left any descendants?

According to some rumors, Geli Raubal was pregnant with his child.

She shot herself with Hitler’s revolver in 1931, before the pregnancy could show. This is speculation, of course. But he did have a creepy obsession with his own niece… she lived with her uncle at his apartment in Munich. He was very controlling of her.

I never looked into just how close the two were until fairly recently and its quite shocking — apparently Hitler threw into a fit of jealousy when Raubal, at age 19, had a relationship with Hitler’s chauffeur Emil Maurice. He then more or less locked her up and kept her supervised at all times. The two had a fight in the events leading up to her death, and one German newspaper at the time claimed she had a broken nose when she died; an injury inconsistent with the manner of her death by firearm. What we see when studying Hitler’s romantic entanglements is a pattern of a man who pursues, obsesses, engages, disengages. A man who smothers his partners, and who shies away from real commitment. A man who is not interested in having a family or providing for children. A man alone, who fulfills his physical needs in the dark and hides that part of himself like a shameful secret.

There was the mysterious French connection, the French woman Hitler had a fling with during WWI and who kept an autographed painting of herself by the dictator in her attic; her son may have been Hitler’s. If not, then there are no direct descendants, as most women associated with Hitler came to tragic ends — Geli Raubal, Unity Mitford, Eva Braun, all died young and by their own hand (although Mitford lingered a while).
