CAN YOU TRACK A SCAMMER?
Contributor | Out of curiosity, I used IPLogger to track the location of my 86 scammers. It was not a case of seeking them out for revenge since they have never stolen anything from me. I just wished to know where they were located.
Since my sister is a professional jazz pianist in Barcelona, I used IPLogger to create a link to her webpage. It is a given that scammers invariably ask about family. So, that is when I send them the link. They cannot resist clicking on it, and Bingo! I learn where they are.
As it turned out, each was working from some city in Nigeria (Lagos, Kwara, Port Harcourt, or Abuja) except for a few who were in Ghana. Since variety is the spice of life, I look forward to one day having a scammer from a different part of the world but so far, that has not happened… sigh.
